Lol Final not what i meant dude like you are picking hero or empire you go away for 5 sec you dun got what you want i mean like everybody gets the pick option at 1 time but then like someone could pick at a different time during the game and just start up like it was the beggining... yes i mean the game can start without someone cause if they are afk and are just sitting there with a hero or an emp the creeps could just come and own them anyway but the game does start without them

u cant handle the creeps anymore
creeps level in time, you cant solo lvl 2 creeps on lvl 1 in HaE2

at the beginning put everyone into a cinematic (restricts talking / whining / accidental selection), pop a box up for host with these 2 choices:

Red Select

All Vote Select

... there, problem solved. if the host wants to select because he hates idiots (like myself in pubbies) then the host can select all the game difficulties and such. if not then it goes back to the origional "all vote" bit... perfect for friends only type reserved games where they wont e specific in what they want, but you know that (well besides that one guy) everyone will make reasonable choices.

kicking: needs more than just the host. i'd generally say that if 4+ people think so-and-so shouldnt be playing that round. then he probably shouldnt be... depending on player max of course. due to the fact that the host was the one that hosted the map in the first place, it's my belief he shouldnt be kicked. how hard do you want to try and setup a game just to be kicked because a few people couldnt listen to the obvious. (which was most likely stated on the title)

the voting system for difficulty might be an idea, but i do think that the host select should have an advantage on that. but then again, i find it annoying to have those voting windows so we're trying to avoid it.
second, the kicking system; i dont think we should add this since its a free game and you should do what you want to. if people dont agree on that, its not your problem is it? sure there are people that are just in the game to annoy others but then i just suggest you kill the guy and get rid of him. maybe a vote kick for people that are already dead (to prevent spammers) might be an idea

Well, about the idea of a votekick to the dead ones would be a mess for 2 reasons:

1.If som1 kill 1 or 2 then they boot the guy? That would screw the game, because in the game you choose if you wanna peace or war, you choose who you wanna battle, it would rip the freedom off the game
2.And if only 1 is dead and he make this voting? Only he will vote? That way he could ban everyone alive and the game ends like that

Even if you make this votekick and think that everyone whos dead wouldn't vote to kick a guy you are wrong, maybe a guy can play with friends and they die and the guy say: "If you attack me you will get booted", that way it will make sum1 control the game
But anyway 99% of the guys leaves after they die, they won't be there to vote or only 1 or 2 will be which make the 2 reasons happen

Minyun had i good idea, it's better make a host vote to see if he select the dificulty or every1 should vote becouse he had the hard work to host it so he deserve to play how he like, if the guy joined he sure know wht game mode will be, if he don't just ask, host need to hv the autority to choose the dificult, but not kick, -kickvote and -kick cannot be on this game, everyone chooses a side, even if i was playing nicely with some guys and sum1 appear and kill us all it would not be a problem, the player choose his side, that's wht make the game fun and competitive
And obiviously if the host is afk and don't select in like 1 min it should go to all vote, so none get disapointed and everyone select wht they want, because of the irresponsability of the host, and he could even get the dificulty he wants if everyone who entered the game to play the dificulty told by the host vote in it
About the Empire or Hero vote i agree that when the guy finish voting the game should start for him, but not creep upgrade, it shoudl be like 1 min and then the time runs to they get lvl2, then lvl 3 and so on, if the guy don't choose it he go random, if he chooses he will hv time to prepare himself before it, that would make the diference betwen pro and noob but anyway, taht's a matter to discuss in HaE1 becouse HaE2 don't hv this part

yup i like the vote/kick on dead ones
like this you can stay in game if you can behave after you died but once ur going to be annoying they can vote you out of the game. but then again, you can also just squelch the guy ^^ perhaps the vote system on dead ones could be an idea
