err... getting back on the topic...
Is there going to be something that protects empires against heroes who ally, teleport in, and then destroy the main base? That always seemed to be annoying after waiting for the game to load...

well... there are not many things you would be able to do teleporting them a certain distance away for attacking would cause exploits Maybe attacking could insta-war and teleport the person to one of the spawn points on the map. It would be a little less coding =)

Easy way of getting yourself to a spawnpoint then . Right now it's just dont ally someone you cant trust, you can try trucing him (no vision = no teleport). Also townhalls will be hard to kill in hae2. (-truce <color) right now it's 1 direction only in hae2 it will probably the same as ally without vision.

Squad don't make townhalls really hard to kill. Think about it, being the devious man I am, I've actually created a whole empire hidden behind the trees scattered about the map. If there's any tree sections that allow 4-5 houses, they can be abused in this manner, and even if the enemy manages to get to your sanctuary in the trees, it would take them eons to kill, leaving you with only another 50 bajillion ones to track down and destroy. You need to have them slightly strong, but nowhere near the level you're suggesting they should be (Unless they are upgraded a LOT)

err he didn't tell you HP or armor Disembow, he said "they will be hard to kill" and you respond with a whole paragraph about how they shouldn't be really hard to kill etc.. "but nowhere near the level you're suggesting" .. I don't see how you can get any sense of how hard he is going to make them off of "they will be hard to kill" Disembow, take a deep breath, go play HaE 7.2 and try to kill a town hall.. and realise for once that OMG they die in like 2 hits! Play another game and realise that OMG there are things calle Nuclear bombers and helicopters that can attack buildings amazing! and range artillary that can hit from a screen away! oh wowz0rs. No but seriously.. I don't see where you get any "abuse" or "eons to kill" out of HaE...

They will probably be like obelisks now. And take a couple hits to kill (50 or so). To prevent abusing i perhaps only allow 1 townhall in every screen or something like that.

so it will screw over the int heroes and make agil heroes/mass strikes from empires a problem(at least thats how ob's are)
heh, sry for that little rant, but i do think there should be some way to make it about equal for everyone killing it, so that its not 100% dependent on attack speed... how about give heroes a spell that has a 4 second cast time that destroys town halls/rebel camps instantly, and takes 2 hits to kill an ob or a lvl 2 hall, and 3 hits to kill a steel hall? only problem would be empires... a special explosives unit used to kill only those buildings?
this could all be attained by making it so that no unit in the game can attack those buildings, kinda how some spells dont affect mechanical units, and then make the explosives spells do 1 damage to 'Hall' class units. give the first town hall and rebel camps 1 hp, and ob's 2 and have each upgrade add 1 more hp to town hall. another thing to add to tech research could be a 1-time research for +1 hp to all town halls, or a regen rate to it(these buildings could only be repaired by casting a heal spell on themselves with a long cast time that requires no enemies nearby)

Perfect, I like the explosive unit idea, maybe it could be purchased at a camp, and if the empire was weak enough that it made it in and exploded on it, then they didn't deserve to live. (You gotta make sure that it can't be used against an allied person, or that if they unally with one inside your base, that it would HAVE to be teleported out then, otherwise they could place one, unally, BOOM you're dead)

I suggest - Spawn points at npc other than assassin campfires or anything of that substance or rather than giving a spawn point maybe disallow monsters the ability to "walk in" not talking about "spawning in" -Maybe add trade point quest minor ones and difficult -Stat boost quest for traders -Quest for empires that can only be access threw empire menu's and certain ages, this will make units more useful rather than just defending -Also i suggest capping all items under traders to 10 require there be a builder in order to get good items -bug fix Sorry for not posting somewere else but it has to do with npc dont no if its been fixed but, u setup the shop from builder that sacrifices items for mana then share control with friend and he buys before it sells u sacrifice the item and u get free mana like this. I suggest u arent allowed to buy items or bring into inventory without right amount of TP -Maybe add units that can carrier 1-2 slots of items and then adding upc that sells items based on gold and lumber in doing so disallow gold and lumber share but allow share to other empires -Also incorperating a trade system would be lovely b/w empires like -trade blue <lumber or gold> for <lumber or gold> then they hit accept if they like offer, might wanna put request allowed every 5 mins exp -trade blue 4000L for 50000G -Also allowing people to buy a crate thats invunerable next to npc would be awesome -Disallowing pking for first 5 mins tends to ruin the game when everyone leaves because everyone is pking and run outa lives -Allow towers to be sold at shops for gold or TP -Allow the selling of a hideout to everyone for the right amount of gold and tp increase the amount with % regenerated -Adding a no spawn points within 1000 range of empires main building would be nice , but just a idea -Maybe items that are sold during a certain time at npc and spreading out npc during certain area's of map not secret shops just not well none shops not over powering items just decent items - incorperate skill trees beening sold at npc that allow u to branch off more skills based on item u bought nothing over powering just allows a person to branch of in own way -Undead Death,Life Preservation,Area spells, then ultimate based on what of each 3 u have -Nightelf Regen,Mana Preservation,Area spells then ultimate based on what of each 3 u have -Human Buffs,Basic Support magic, Area spellsthen ultimate based on what of each 3 u have -Orc Offensive buffs, Defensive bufs,Minor Area spells then ultimate based on what of each 3 u have
