shift-click queue-building and autobuilding together what a nice combination... especially when you eventually have to make that extremely long trade road, or a long wall to cover your flank.

how about a trading system amongst empires? since market is next to useless in hae2 make a trade cart or something that can go between allied markets and give the empires lots of $$ or wood.
also its alittle annoying that you can only build one of each "improvement building", maybe if its just you cant make 2 within a certain range of eachother, so you can have 2 major cities and maybe a couple of villages.
lol i always go empire if ya cant tell coz i love building big empires and its no fun if the second city isnt very happy =(

trading system sounds good to me, though i doubt Final and Squad have the time to work on another version of the original Heroes and Empires. Maybe you could crack the protect on one and send it to vulkarus tell him to work on that he can help ;D

I remember there being a trade system in HaE 8.8 beta, where empires could build markets, which could then build up to five trade horses to visit the markets of other empires. I think that the reason for the improvement building limit in HaE2 is because each one improves the total happiness, even if there are no houses affected by it (at least, that's how I think I remember the real Lord_Squad explaining it). Now, maybe if the happiness provided by each improvement was <base happiness of building> * <percentage of houses covered by it>, it would work better. With this formula, with every house covered by it, it would give 100%. With half the houses, it would give 50% (x * .50). Might work, then again, it would probably cause lag.
