I was thinking more of an addition menu in the beginning if you're an empire then being able to turn it off incase of an emergency. lol.

in response to fletcher nah can't do something like that because then someone can build close by, and force a loss on you by doing that if you don't notice it fast enough. See the problem with build and destroy is how the War3 trigger engine works. If you let them start the building and then blow it up you have to do funky things with victory conditions otherwise it will register blowing up the town hall as a loss.. So you need a variable to set when they finish their first town hall or something like that to keep it from making the player with a loss...
But you absolutely can not have it be an activateable ability. Because then any player can pop the ability at any time even if they were the second player to build in that spot. Also this gets fishy if an ally decides to backstab which isn't fun. They can build near you and then just press a button or unallie and press the button to get rid of you.. So from a programming standpoint you must either: A) Make it so it is always on and doesn't effect allies B) Always on and does effect allies C) Triggerable on, but only effects buildings that haven't been placed yet. D) Triggerable on, but only effects non-allied buildings that haven't been placed yet.
This will prevent a player from actively placing a town hall and being able to remove an opposing players buildings with it.

If its activated then it would check BEFOREHAND to see if someones already built there

you guys still busy with this "near-other-townhall" stuff? told you we shouldnt cancel it since empires can also team up into one empire well... maybe just for unallied empires we could make a trigger for this (for example; your base wont be able to deploy near some1 else's who isnt an ally) but that shouldnt stop someone from building near someone else... i say we keep it like this. if you dont get the spot you like, you just need to conquer it

conquering is good, although frowned upon sometimes I usually just build as I would, level a hero up and as soon as grace period is over have the hero rape them

I agree, some type of recycle option would be nice, maybe for like 50% resources, maybe even like 25 - 30 so yeah Maybe have it so if a buildings on fire you cant recycle it.

hm... as soon as we're done with triggers, abilities, quests and units there are always more bugs we find... or just things that really need to get improved. the working rate isnt too bad, its just that things keep coming up
