Alright, if anyone would be interested in helping make a map with the clan, or a group of people from the clan, please post what areas of the World Editor you are skilled with, or interested in figuring out.
To start, I am good with triggers, and making AIs. I can of course make custom races, but I am not so great at balancing. I am not very good at making terrain.

i'll have to work on maps a bit more before i can find out where my skills lie. I can do a few basic triggers, make small terrains... its just when it comes down to editing units that i kinda falter 'cause all that code can be a bit confusing. And i'm working on a map right now, if anyone wants to pitch in.

I have only a small amount of experience in successfully making maps in WEdit, but am great at problem-solving and have some bad OCD at terraining, so naturally I am best at making triggers and symmetrical terrain.
I also have experience making new spells in WEdit (none of the cool stuff yet, but would like to teach myself how) as well as new units. And I am able to use proper english, something which can make the best-made maps look childish.

I thought it would just be nice to have a thread with who can do what with the map editor, in case anyone wants to make something with the clan, so they know who to ask.

the other day i found a really cool physics engine in warcraft 3, inside a demonstration game called Object Engine. I played around with it for a while, was pretty fun; stuff rolls down cliffs, flies through the air realistically, a tornado spins things around, etc.
I then thought a bit on how this engine could be used in other games -- after its maker, grim001 or something cant rly remember the name, finishes it, of course. I thought this physics engine might go good in some kind of shooter, but someone else i was checking it out with at the time suggested an RPG.
I'm just putting it out there. Warcraft 3 has evolved a *lot* since i first logged on, and I've seen plenty of maps evolve and integrate new systems I've never seen before. I don't know if this could somehow be used in any maps we have or are going to create, but its a possibility that shouldn't be overlooked.
