mm no, you can trigger it, whenever a player spends money it subtracts from the other player etc etc... both players get the same amount of income off of the tic. that kind of thing.

ye like that but that sucks, makes u wait twice as long if u wanna save for something (or u can give ur income to the other player but thats annoying to keep doing)

or you could just make each person get half of the team income(which should end up about equal to what you would do normally)
it would be silly(and potentially exploitable) to write some clumsy trigger to share money. just split it up as it is dealt, and let each person decide how to spend it. the point is they share one huge income, and can use each other's units/municpals/firedepartments as well as more easily build together.
another idea that i just had--- if you dont make tech upgrades shared between the two(i do not thinkthey should be shared) then one person could max lumber and get 75 workers, while the other focuses on damage/unittech and the person with lumber production gives wood when needed. just another team-player method that could help overall if this were put in.

that new idea of u actually is already possible on hae1 just be with 2, let one do the workers n stuff and let the other one build defense around him and himself and upgrade tech still dont like the idea of sharing an empire tho what if ur with a noob

well the point is that you know each other, and both players must agree to it. sometimes you WANT to be with a noob, so that you can help them more directly. it would be a great first step for someone to learn how to play, given that empire IS a lot to learn at once.

I Consider my Self a Good Empire player, (tho not the best )and at one point we were all newbies, so thats not very nice. on topic. if you wanted to share income cooed you not make a trigger that works like this after merging every time you get gold or wood(by income or worker) it is hafted and your Ally(that you merged with) will get gold and or wood equal to that that you received and visa versa, But gold and or wood you get from this would not trigger the income split. and heres a new idea for Empire quest(my have bin said be for i do not know) one would/cooed be a area on the map pings and you get a cattle (or have to make one there) and hold it for X time(hold it for X and make in by Y if you have to make the T.H.) a other would be amass X+ gold and Y + wood by Z. A other cooed be Weathering a large set of waves of creeps. or getting your pop up to X by Y. theirs a few things like that you can do ~Forest_Herder~

first of all id like to remind you that a noob and a newbie are both different things: Noobs r pP|_ wh0 th1n|< th3y p\/\/nnz0r Newbies are people that just started something and just arent that good at it yet second, me n squad didnt start as newbies anyway we've been over the empire quest plans a couple of times but decided we're not going to put them in. empire units will be able to level though, so dont worry, you'll have more to do than running your empire. about your merging idea, i think it would be a bit hard to trigger, besides, what do you concider a merge? when 2 empires are on the same spot? and what about spending your last gold along with your teammate at the same time? i think this will give alot of bugs as it is. i dont really get that X Y Z idea tbh maybe its cause im european ;D i do like that random creep spawn wave trigger tho might just add some variation. would also be nice to give that on a random spawn spot so you should expect an attack from a spot you hardly get any attacks thanks for posting

X Stands for number set 1, Y number set 2 Etc.
Heres a Example
lets have a Spell that dus X damage stuns for Y seconds and costs Z mana!
lets have a Spell that dus 100 damage stuns for 2 seconds and costs 100 mana!

if i get this right, this system would be for in the map editor only? or would you be able to control em even in-game? like for ur example: you can adjust the x/y/z but you can only reach a maximum of points to put in it, x adds damage, y adds stun and z reduces costs?

when he says those letters he means that whoever makes the trigger in the map would replace the 'x' 'y' or 'z' with a number, or a function f(x)=something so that it scales with difficulty/time.

Well i have on suggestion, I think that hero's should be able to fuse. EG: a warrior and a mage can fuse for say 5 minutes, they stack damage and they get a special spell imbued weapon. Or an Archer and Mage etc etc. May make the game a bit more interesting, also good for enemy hero killing, an annoying thing is when ur m8 dies when u try to take on another hero! (They get annoyed with me when that happens!) Tell me wot u think

i think if we did it like that things would be very unbalanced :/ what you're saying is that 2 lvl 15 chars fuse into one of 30? besides, is it even possible?

No, combining levels is way unbalanced and usually fusions are stronger but have the average level of both heroes, the idea is unbalanced to begin with anyway.
Though it would be kind of cool combining classes like a warrior and cleric become a paladin or a mage and a trader become an alchemist.
