I wake up to my digital clock, its soft yet insistent beeping forcing me awake yet still feeling sleepy. I simply reach over, flip the switch and go back to sleep. Several minutes later, my emergency alarm clock goes off, I sit BOLT UPRIGHT in bed screaming some nonsensible gibberish, reach for the clock then find I was clever and set it on the bookshelf above my bed, several shelves high. I have to get out of bed, grab the clock and switch it off -- and by that time my body is wide awake with no chance of falling asleep whatsoever.
Drastic, but effective. Does anyone use one of these clocks? Share your stories.

Using my Galaxy to wake up when I think it's nessecary. Prefer to wake up around the afternoon without any alarm clock when I get the chance, though

I would love to have the opportunity just to sleep until 8 AM every morning, but my dad wakes me up at 5 AM every morning acting like I sleep to much, and then he always ends up going to sleep in the middle of the afternoon, by then I can't go back to sleep but I'm still deprived of sleep. I've had circles under my eyes as a personal characteristic for the past 4 years of my life (ever since I moved in with him when I was 12).

So wake him up in the afternoon and tell him to wait in the evening It'll piss him off ending up in him leaving you alone at 5AM.

I can't do things to piss him off, he owns the house. If I do what's right, I'd just make my own life worse...

Still, if I own a house and my girlfriend lives with me, I wouldn't do pointless things just to piss her off, That would be just childish. So tell the guy to grow up n be realistic. Respect is earned, not given; He should treat you the same way you treat him.

I'm not saying what he does is right, I'm saying there's nothing I can do about it.
