u can get fully equipped at that lvl i think... as long as enough empires hire u on 100%

well i have some comments on this rather out-dated topic...
1) First off, nobody plays HaE2 ( makes me sad) so i think there should be an HaE 7.4 or 8.0 that changes some stuff. 2) Empires should get something for killing units, as of now the only reason to make an army is if you really fear camps/obs or have nubs in the game that u need to beat down. This can be done by adding the gold from kills like normal war3 creeps, and then a trigger which checks if you have a hero every time your gold amount changes, and sets it to 0 if you do have a hero. This might be a bit processor-heavy tho, because empires gold is constantly changing.... 3) There should be another means for gaining TP's aside from picking up/selling items, trader hero skill, or hiring %. I think a droppable TP item like the gold/wood piles already in war3 is the best way to implement this. Just give a 1, 2, and 5 TP 'coin' that drops with the same percent chance as wood, iron, and gems respectively. 4) I would like to see items (wood/stone/iron...) and feel this would not be very game-breaking in terms of being able to carry 100 wood to get +500 damage... if you can pick up that much wood then go for it. The only problem is that I dont know how the triggers handle selling of items, the triggers would probably need to be remade for that. 5) I will volunteer to make this happen, but do not know how to protect/unprotect a map and the most recent unprotected copy i have is 7.2... if final could send me 7.3 i'll tinker with it and make, as balanced as possible, the changes i mentioned.

2 -- Easy to trigger, but not that way. Every time a creep is killed, add the bounty to the player if he does not have zero workers. 3 -- I agree 4 -- I agree with this as well, simply add charges to the item, and count the charges when the item is sold. This would require a bit of extra triggers for builder heroes though.
Edit -- After reading the entire topic, rather then just ScytaleIRAx's reply, I feel that having creeps leaving trade points as bounty is unneeded. I still like the coin idea.

sorry, scy, but you're wrong. people DO play HaE2. I've seen it hosted just last night, and people were flooding in. they said it was fun, and i told them it wasn't even supposed to be released but they didn't seem to mind at all. You just not on when the people who host HaE2 are, i guess.
i like the coin idea too! Heres another idea... since builders are less inclined to sell items for TP, have them able to build a tradepoint generator type thing that will generate slow and steady trade income? just a suggestion... you cant live off of what empires give you forever.

hm... im reading all these good idea's, but i dont even know if there will be an update of this :/ if there will be one, itll be completely different. in the near future there won't be one for sure, though
maybe i should lock the HaE topics untill squad gets back active or something ^^

I passed through the suggestions topic and I noticed that about all suggestions are already done...

about heroes and gear. an empire hiring you gives levels not just trade points, so u gotta b a high level to get all that stuff anyway. and heroes actually having a use for g would NOT work cuzz then there is the whole problem with empires giving them gold. u could disable resource transfer but then what about empires wanting to help empires? just do what was planned originally and trigger it for tp hero g empire.

Well anyway we were off topic there.
So in waiting for my exam to pass (hopefully not me as well)...
Next versions will include news mini-boss, some here may have heard of it. The "Dark" clan which are all mini-boss, now a single problem.
How should they drop ? Tradepoints or Items ? On that end, do you find better to have stuffs being lotted or having all the stuffs that you can buy while those mini-boss drop only tradepoints ?
And no, empires won't gain anything for killing them, and yes some of the Dark clan are very annoying even for empire.
so, Item or tradepoints ?
