Sometimes the show locations on the hero won't show everything. I talked to a quest guy, forgot about that quest, and later on I used show locations, but it didn't ping anything yellow, so I had no clue what do to do. I know no one else did the quest because this was in single player.
Also, how do you use the temple? It doesn't seem to regenerate mana, and how do heroes get power?

For the Temple: you need to sacrafice your resources to the temple to gain mana.
For the quests its possible but you shouldnt get it, there is a max ping at the same time triggered its like 15. So you would need alot of crap on pings, which should be right now impossible to reach. (if you play 6.1)

I know you're probably going to revamp the quest system, but there is a current problem with it:
1) sometimes quest givers will spawn on a tiny rock island to the north of kelen's castle. This is unreachable unless you have iseedeadpeople on or satellite imaging so you can blink there
2) sometimes the quest objective will spawn in the encampment area on a rock cliff that is inaccessible by walking; the actual monster or whatever that spawns there will not appear at all (some trigger bug or maybe not enough space or something), meaning the quest cannot be finished and the quest giver is essentially worthless for the rest of the game

Yeah i was revamping quest system on part1: it was not ment to get there i just used it as a dumpspot for units they shouldnt be visible though. (not anymore in 6.2)
on part2. It happened with obelisks etc as well, not sure how but i know why. They never get spawned so they never get a given location so it grabs the center of the map and thats on a rock cliff near kalendens castle in the dirt area.

there was once, I was playing as hero, my friend was playing as empire. we did the usual thing, until an obelisk appeared. but I didn't have time to go there, because it's early and I was busy defending my friend. when the count down reached 5 min or so, I pinged again. But no red obelisk, the count down still continues though. I even searched the entire area where it should be. But nth. So when time is up, I got the kalendan's army got stronger message.
The other thing is, the yellow quest pin disappears too. It did that 3 times in a roll today when I was playing with legacy. However when I go there later on, the monster is still there, when I kill it. I get the quest experience just the same.

"None" mode is not done right in my opinion. First, there are no normal creeps for heroes to level up on; I think "none" mode should just mean that the enemy heroes don't spawn and hunt everyone to death. None mode should be for people who want to duke it out but not worry at all about the annoying creep and hero squads. Second, obelisks and encampments will still spawn, although they are completely pointless since there are no troops spawning to fight you.

I think the reason creeps spawn in None mode, is the fact that heros need resouces and xp.

I said they SHOULD spawn, but they DON"T. Obelisks and encampments will spawn, but not hte normal units or hero groups, so heroes can't exp well at all!

Thank you for fixing the empire bug. But there is now an even bigger one:
All the difficulties are really screwed up!!! The enemy creep heroes never go past level 1 and they always have 1-1 damage, and the enemy spawns never go past rebellion slaves and zealots!! My friend and I played insane yesterday, were going "wtf so easy" so we tried god's play and beat it really easily because the enemies never progressed passed rebellion slaves and 1 damage heroes.

I noticed a bug when i played as a hero, when i was returning a map back to the camp master, i noticed that another person was on his way to get troops. Greedy as i was, i tried to wait until he got his troops and left, but instead, the quest reward activated and i recieved no reward at all. I guess the moral of the bug is that it is better to share or you get none.
oh ya, i was about 3 screens away too and it was at NW camp.

according to finallegacy, you all get 100 percent exp. meaning if both of you kill a creep that gives 10 exp. you both will get 10, not 5 each. same goes for quests.
