maybe. I heard they drink wine all the time cause their water is so bad... or WAS so bad, back in the day. It's almost a law to eat cheese with wine as well too. For the record, cheese & wine is a good combo. I can't tell if it'd be good or bad to get drunk in france though... not that wine gets you drunk easily, anyway

Wine does get you drunk fairly quickly.. it has twice the alcohol content of beer.

lol isn't vodka made from potatoes or something? i think there's different varieties, like Chernekov vodka or something as well... by the way it depends on the kind of wine your talking about. wine is a generic word for all kinds of wines of varying alcohol contents, tastes, plants they are derived from, etc. One things for sure; all alcohol gets even better with age.

it makes you wonder if they even bother to age the beer they mass-produce and sell in cans these days. It certainly wouldn't be better than vintage brews that have been sitting on a wine rack in a cellar somewhere for like 20 years. yum yum ;D

Beer tends to get bad when aged.

oooh, i see. So beer is perfect for mass production because it doesn't really need the aging process to reach the best flavor. On the other hand, wines are much better when aged.

Maybe but at least wines last longer... and are much better suited to the posh & proper kind of parties than beer is.
